Dr. Alberto Bordin, is the Additive Manufacturing Technical Lead for the Europe Region, at the ASTM AM Center of Excellence. He has 10 years of experience in the AM field, primarily on Metal Powder Bed Fusion technologies. In 2016, Alberto obtained a Doctorate in Additive Manufacturing from Padova University (Italy). Before joining ASTM, he worked 4 years in motorsport as AM R&D engineer at Ferrari Formula One and Head of Applications at Pankl Racing Systems (Austria). In his recent role, he managed a team of engineers at 3T-AM (UK), where he industrialized products for the Aerospace and Medical sectors.
